Apple iPhone or iPod Touch

Please follow these instructions to get your iPhone or iPod Touch on the UCSF wireless network. For technical help, please come by our technical service window located in the Campus Library room CL231. You can also call the Library Technical Helpdesk: 415-476-4309

1. Find your wireless Network Adapter Address.

1. Click the Settings icon
2. Scroll down and select "General" then select "About"

3. Scroll down and copy the "Wi-Fi Address". In the example below, the MAC address is 00:00:00:00:00:00.

2. Modify/create your GALEN Account.

You must have a UCSF student, faculty, or staff GALEN Account for wireless access. Please modify your GALEN account to include your Network Adapter Address.

 

Your wireless access will be effective 20 minutes after registration. If you don't have a GALEN Account, create one now, then modify your account.
