Group Study Rooms
(UCSF Only)

Check Out Procedures
- Group Study Rooms are available for use by UCSF students for collaborative study and group projects.
- Each student is allowed one placard (one 4-hour loan period) per day.
- Advance reservations are not available; check outs must be made in person at the Circulation Desk, 3rd floor.
- A campus-wide identification card (CWID) and an active unblocked UCSF borrowing account is required.
- Place placard in designated area of the study room door.
- When placard has expired, vacate the room and return the placard to the Circulation Desk.
- Priority is given to groups of two or more students. During busy times, single occupants may be asked to vacate a room for a group.
- Rooms 320 and 324: Request one of these rooms if you require a large screen monitor.
- Holds: If there are no placards available, a student may place a hold on the next available placard. To ensure fair access for all users, once a placard is returned it will be held only for fifteen (15) minutes.
Room Facilities
- Wireless access and electrical outlets are available in all Study Rooms.
- Each Study Room is equipped with a dry erase whiteboard and an X-ray light box. Dry erase markers and erasers may be checked out from the Circulation Desk for 4 hours.
