Medical Sciences
The Medical Sciences Computing Space provides 24 hour access to computing resources for individuals participating in academic
programs at UCSF. A staff member, located in S166, is available for questions Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 12:30pm.
Please use your UCSF ID for access. A numeric code is no longer
required. Note: Only UCSF students, faculty, clinical residents and
fellows have access privileges to S165.
AUTHENTICATION: Please use your GALEN Account.

Open Computing Space
- All windows workstations have 1GB of RAM and 17" monitors.
- S165: 9 Windows XP stations and 2 iMacs
- S165A: 19 Windows XP stations (18 student computers, 1 instructor station)
- General and curricula-related software
- Additional resources: network laser printer, scanner, CD burners, and DVD burner, whiteboard, videotape player (in main lab).
Reservable Classroom Space
The Medical Sciences computing space provides facilities for computer instruction in a hands-on environment. While not in use, it is general open lab space.
