The Library has been developing browser toolbars to help users quickly access online resources. The toolbars integrate with your web browser, providing access to the Library's resources from anywhere on the Web.

BioBar@UCSF, the latest toolbar, facilitates browsing of over 46 biological databases and data collections. It also provides access to PubMed@UCSF and its enhanced features provided via UC-eLinks. BioBar@UCSF is available for Firefox (Windows or Mac).

The general GALEN Toolbar and the Clinician's Toolbar now provide access to Google and Google Scholar, in addition to PubMed@UCSF, GALEN, and email reference assistance. The GALEN Toolbar features Citation Linker, which helps you determine if the full-text of an article is available online. The Clinician's Toolbar provides access to UpToDate, drug information, and clinical resources on GALEN.
