RSS Feeds Available from PubMed

|
You can read the latest updates to your PubMed scientific literature searches using the RSS Feeds options in PubMed. RSS, which stands for Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary, allows you to view the latest information updates on your desktop browser without having to receive updates via email. A free RSS news aggregator, such as Bloglines, allows you to read the RSS feeds. The Mozilla Firefox browser also allows you to save an RSS feed as a Live Bookmark so that updates can be read via your Bookmarks toolbar. Visit the Center for Instructional Technology to find out more about RSS.
The PubMed@UCSF QuickGuide on GALEN offers a step-by-step guide to creating PubMed RSS feeds. For more information, contact Josephine Tan, (415) 476-2534. [back to top] |
