What's New at the Library
September 19, 2007
RefWorks Now Available
The UCSF Library has acquired a site license for RefWorks, a web-based bibliographic management application. Like EndNote, RefWorks is designed to help you easily gather, manage, store, and share all types of information. In addition, the RefWorks Write-N-Cite feature allows for automatic formatting of footnotes, endnotes, and bibliographies in papers using Microsoft Word. Since it is web-based, you can access your RefWorks personal citation database from anywhere via the Web -- on campus, at home (via VPN), or abroad.

A RefWorks account is free for UCSF students, faculty, and staff. Registration is quick and easy. For more information, help, and instructions on how to register for an account, see the Library's Citation Management web pages.

In addition, the Library is offering free classes on Getting Started with RefWorks. For dates and times, see the class schedule.
