Genentech Hall Study Space

Although the Mission Bay Library staff and collections are located in the Rutter Center Building, Room 227 in Genentech Hall serves as a quiet study space with computer resources. This space is open to all UCSF students, faculty, and staff. If you would like 24-hour access to this space, register here.

Hours & Access

The Study Space is open to UCSF students, faculty, and staff only. The door is unlocked Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM. 24-hour access is available to UCSF personnel who register with the Library.

Resources

The Genentech Hall study space provides:

  • Access to online journals, databases, and textbooks.
  • 4 ILC computers.
  • 24-hour access (requires registration).
  • Wireless Access.
The Library in the Rutter Center offers a full range of library services and features a computer lab/classroom equipped with 16 Macintosh computers.
