Software Developer - Collaborative Learning Environment
The UCSF Library and Center for Knowledge Management seeks applications from qualified individuals for the position of Software Developer, classified as a Programmer/Analyst III.
Please note: The University of California Regents have approved pay reductions with furloughs due to the state budget crisis, effective September 1, 2009. This position may be subject to all the same cost cutting measures implemented at UCSF.
The Center for Knowledge Management (CKM) develops and supports a variety of information technology products and services to support the Library and campus-wide academic information technology activities; products and services include web-based information and databases, web-based curricular software, online library catalog systems, student computer laboratory facilities, server-based tools, and desktop support for Library staff and network infrastructure; this position is part of the Applications Group and provides programming support for projects undertaken by the CKM; the incumbent will work as lead programmer designing and developing extensions to the Collaborative Learning Environment based on Moodle; the incumbent will also work on other teams developing Java- and PHP-based Web applications; and perform other duties as assigned.
