Answers
I'm having a problem with my mail@UCSF account. Whom do I contact?
Call the Office of Academic & Administrative Information Systems (OAAIS) Customer Support at (415) 514-4100 Option 2. They will reset your password for you. Once a password is established, please ceate a profile using their web based Password Reset Tool. Creating this account will allow you to reset your password online.

How do I log into ILC lab computers?
An active GALEN Account is required and one is automatically created for students (use SAA UserID and PIN).
Faculty and Staff must create an account with their UCSF 9-digit Employee ID. General public, non-UCSF students and non-UCSF researchers do not have access.
Students must renew their GALEN Account annually. If you are unable to log into ILC computers after October 1, you may need to renew your GALEN Account.

The door is locked. How do I get access?
The ILC labs are locked after business hours and on weekends. Simply use your UCSF ID to unlock the door. An access code is no longer required.
If you have been issued a new card because your UCSF ID was lost or stolen, only the new card will work with the door ID Card readers. Please contact the UCSF Police for any ID card access-related issues: (415) 476-1414.
Only UCSF students, faculty and clinical residents and fellows have access privileges to S165.

Where is the CIT located?
The CIT is located in CL229A of the UCSF Library & Center for Knowledge Management. The CIT Lab is open to registered users.

I have a question. Who can help me?
ILC staff are available to assist you from 9am to 6pm every University business day. Technicians are located in the ILC Library, CL231, and in the Medical Sciences Building, S166 (across from lab).
You may use our contact form at any time.

What kinds of printing services are available?
The Library Printing Service provides laser printing for a fee. All ILC computers are configured to print. You will need to login to your GALEN account and add money in order to print to any ILC printers.
Single-sided color printing is available to UCSF students, faculty, and staff in the Library ILC only.

Where can I go to print on special paper?
The UCSF Technology Store can copy to a variety of media. Please do not attempt to print on anything other than the plain white paper provided by the ILC. Other materials, including letterhead, may cause mechanical failures.
